Immerse yourself in the Chinese your kids speak
Built for multilingual homes, where Mum and the kids speak Chinese and Dad doesn't yet.
Works in any phone browser. No app store, nothing to download.
Only what you'll actually say
Other courses open with nationalities and how many brothers you have. You need to get a three-year-old into the bath.
So that's all this teaches, and you use it the same evening you learn it.
The lessons follow the parts of the day you are actually in.
It opens full screen like any other app. On an iPhone it's also the only way to get a reminder at bedtime.
It's already on your home screen. Good.
Your browser's menu will have an “Install” or “Add to Home Screen” option.
Seven sessions, no card. Then decide.

My wife and my daughter speak Chinese to each other. I didn't, and I got tired of standing outside it.
We tried Chinese school. I tried the apps. None of them taught me how to get a three-year-old into the bath, which is most of what I actually needed to say.
So I built the thing I wanted. The sentences from my own evenings, said out loud until they came without thinking about them. My Chinese moved further in a few weeks than it had in a year of everything else.
I'm still adding to it.
Seven sessions free, so you find out whether it works before you pay for it.
The tutor talks, then listens. No button, just answer out loud.
The strokes are the stars. The gold is the picture someone drew through them.
Ten minutes of dinner is enough. It gets transcribed, every word counted, and the ones your family actually says become the next thing you are taught — ranked by how often they were said at your table.
The audio is transcribed and then deleted — only the text and the word counts are kept. Make sure everyone at home knows it exists.
Seven sessions was the free part. After that it is $9.99 a month, or $99.99 a year, and you can stop whenever you like.
